Giving Back Is Part
of Who We Are
Verity is a veteran-owned company, and a portion of every project we complete goes to organizations that support service members, veterans, and first responders.
Service Runs Deeper Than Roofing
Giving back is not a campaign for us. It is one of the reasons the company was started in the first place.
Verity was built by a veteran. Our founder, Brian Zimmerman, served in the United States Marine Corps, and the values he carried out of that service still guide the way we work. Doing honest work, standing by our word, and looking out for the people around us are not slogans here. They are the reason the company exists. You can read more about that background on our about page.
That history is why giving back felt natural from day one. Roofing is how we earn a living, but it is also how we fund a promise we made to ourselves early on: that a share of what we bring in would go to people who gave far more than a day's work. Every roof we install and every repair we finish helps keep that promise going.
We picked three organizations whose work we believe in, and we support them quietly and consistently. There is no gimmick and no fine print. When you hire us, you are already part of it.
You do not have to do anything extra to take part. When you choose Verity for a roof, repair, or inspection, a share of the proceeds already goes toward the organizations below.
Three Groups We Stand Behind
We chose partners whose missions speak for themselves. Here is who they are and what they do.
Semper Fi & America's Fund
The Semper Fi & America's Fund supports wounded, critically ill, and injured service members from every branch of the military, along with their families. Their help tends to arrive when it is needed most, covering the gaps that open up during a long recovery. A service member does not choose when injury or illness comes, and this fund makes sure the people who served are not left to face that alone. You can learn more at semperfifund.org.
Mission 22
Mission 22 focuses on veteran mental health and suicide prevention. They fund treatment programs, research, and support for veterans and the families standing beside them, often carrying weight that is not visible from the outside. Their work matters to us because the hardest part of service does not always end when the service does. You can find them at mission22.com.
One Goat
One Goat gives direct financial help to Police, Fire, EMS, and Dispatch personnel and their families. These are the people who show up on the worst day someone will ever have. When those same first responders hit hard times of their own, One Goat steps in with real, practical support. You can learn more at onegoat.org.
What the Name Verity Stands For
Verity means truth. We picked the name on purpose, because honesty is the standard we hold ourselves to on every job. In practice that means telling you when a roof can be repaired instead of replaced, showing you the photos from your roof inspection so you can see exactly what we see, and never selling you something you do not need.
That same honesty carries into how we give. We do not tie our donations to a marketing push or a limited-time offer. Supporting these organizations is built into how the business runs, and it stays that way whether or not anyone is watching. The people we support are not a talking point. They are the reason we hold the standard in the first place.
If you want to understand the training and credentials behind our crews, our certifications page lays that out in plain terms. The way we treat a roof and the way we treat the causes we back come from the same place.
Your Project Is Part of It
There is no separate fund to donate to and no checkout box to tick. When you choose Verity for your home or building, part of the proceeds from that work goes toward the groups above. A new roof protects your family, and at the same time it helps a veteran in recovery, a first responder going through a hard stretch, or a service member's family finding their footing.
We work across Castle Rock and the wider Front Range, and the giving follows the work wherever it takes us. A repair on one street and a full replacement on the next both add to the same effort. It is a small way to make sure the money that comes through the door does more than keep the lights on.
If that matters to you, the most direct way to help is to trust us with your next project. You can reach out through our contact page, or head back to our home page to see the full range of work we do.
Common Questions About Verity Gives
Do I need to donate anything myself?
No. The giving is built into our work. When you hire Verity for a roof, repair, or inspection, a portion of the proceeds already goes to the organizations we support. You do not pay anything extra, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Which organizations does Verity support?
We support the Semper Fi & America's Fund, which helps wounded and injured service members from every branch; Mission 22, which funds veteran mental health and suicide prevention; and One Goat, which assists Police, Fire, EMS, and Dispatch personnel and their families.
